Project
Eschaton
Zealous for the Rule of Love
What is this?
This project aims to build a zine at the crossroads of religion, culture, and mass politics.
Help us launch Project Eschaton. We're looking for writers, editors, artists, designers, organizers, and anyone else who wants to contribute—whether that's an ongoing role or just lending a hand now and then. This is a strictly volunteer effort to get the zine off the ground.
What are we building?
A place to challenge sectarianism, fundamentalism, and intellectual conformity—spiritual, social, or political. A place that gives voice to the religious left.
A new, independent publication for thoughtful writing, art, criticism, and dialogue across traditions and perspectives.
A public forum for people from different traditions to encounter one another seriously, disagree honestly, and discover what they might build together.
Help Us Build the Zine
This is still taking shape. We're looking for writers, artists, editors, designers, organizers, and anyone else who thinks they have something to contribute.

Project Eschaton Is Taking Shape
Project Eschaton is officially underway. We’re building an independent magazine devoted to religion, culture, and politics, bringing together writers, editors, artists, organizers, and other collaborators interested in creating something thoughtful, critical, and genuinely independent.
Right now, we’re assembling our founding collective, developing our first issue, building the magazine’s website and infrastructure, and talking with prospective contributors. We’re aiming for our first issue this November. Project Eschaton is still a work in progress—including the final shape and identity of the publication—but the project is moving quickly.
You can follow Project Eschaton on X / Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Bluesky. We’ll use those accounts, along with this Updates section, to share announcements, calls for contributors and volunteers, previews of what we’re working on, and news as we get closer to launch.
We’re currently looking for people interested in contributing to the project—particularly writers, editors, artists, illustrators, designers, and people with publishing or web experience. If what we’re building sounds like something you’d like to be part of, fill out our interest form and introduce yourself.
More soon.
